Escaped Inmate Who Left FL Facility Sought
Officials are looking for an inmate who escaped from a St. Petersburg facility, the Florida Department of Corrections said.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The Florida Department of Corrections are looking for an inmate who escaped from a Pinellas County facility over the weekend.
Jamie Jenks, 33, left a St. Petersburg community release center without permission on Sunday just after 2 p.m., according to an FDC escape notice.
He was arrested in Lee County on multiple petit theft charges and was sentenced to two years in prison on Oct. 1.

Other charges he was previously incarcerated for include grand theft, being a felon with a gun, and selling, manufacturing, or distributing a concealed weapon, FDC records show.
