Celebrate Children’s Book Week with the Mayor at the St. Petersburg Public Library Annual Children’s Book Week Spaghetti Dinner at the Johnson Branch Library, 1059 18th Avenue S., on Tuesday, May 3. Mayor Bill Foster will read “The Little Red Hen” at 6 p.m. in the library’s community room. Then the crowd will parade next door to the Enoch Davis Center where they will be served a spaghetti dinner. Each child who attends will receive a book of his/her own.
The St. Petersburg Public Library Spaghetti Dinner has become a tradition in the community as a highlight of Children’s Book Week and is a great opportunity for children and parents to share a reading experience.
