Federal Jury Finds FL Sex Offender Guilty Of Child Exploitation Charges
A registered sex offender in Pinellas County was found guilty of multiple child exploitation-related charges, the U.S. DOJ said.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A registered sex offender in Pinellas County was found guilty of multiple child exploitation crimes, the U.S. Department of Justice said in a news release.
A federal jury found Daniel N. Pulley, 59, of St. Petersburg guilty of production of child sexual abuse material, attempted coercion or enticement of a minor, coercion or enticement of a minor, possession of child sexual abuse material, and penalties for registered sex offenders.
Pulley faces a maximum penalty of life in federal prison. His sentencing hearing is scheduled for Oct. 29.

He became a registered sex offender following a 2009 federal conviction for possession of child pornography, the DOJ said.
Then, in 2022, he used a social media app to communicate with a teenage minor online, coercing her to produce child sexual abuse material for him and detailing different ways he wanted to sexually abuse her, the agency said.

Pulley also had various images and videos of such material on his cell phone, including depictions of young children.
