Felon Found With Luxury Car Fob Stash After St. Pete Arrest: PD

St. Pete police said they discovered the stash of stolen luxury key fobs after responding to a recent car burglary.

Daquan Sheppard, 21, has been charged with six counts of a felon in possession of a firearm, one count of auto theft, two counts of vehicle burglary and one count of fraud from the use of a stolen credit card.

ST. PETE, FL —Police in St. Petersburg recently nabbed a car burglary suspect who they said had dozens of luxury vehicle key fobs in his possession.

The police department shared a photo of the stolen key fobs on Facebook on Wednesday. The fob key brands shown in the photo included Tesla, Land Rover and Mercedes.

Police said they also found stolen credit cards, three stolen guns and a stolen scooter.

Police said Sheppard may also be connected to cases in other nearby cities and counties.
