First Street Bike Lane Plan to Be Detailed

Plans for a 1st Street bike lane will be discussed at a Historic Old Northeast Neighborhood Association meeting Monday night.

The Historic Old Northeast Neighborhood Association is reminding residents of a general meeting and potluck tonight, at 6:45 p.m., at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 126 11th Ave. NE.

Michael Frederick, the city's Neighborhood Transportation Manager, will discuss plans for the 1st Street Bicycle Lanes. He also will talk about any other traffic concerns neighbors might raise.

Neighbors are asked to arrive with a favorite dish and learn what is going on in the neighborhood. There already will be a main entrée (meat and meatless) and beverages.

The meeting is open to members and non-members.
