Method Circuit Training Classes Offered For Free At Booker Creek Park's AARP FitLot
St. Petersburg residents can learn about method circuit training taught by certified trainers at one of the city's AARP FitLot parks.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Free exercise classes at the AARP FitLot Fitness Park at Booker Creek Park will launch Wednesday, the city of St. Petersburg said.
Healthy St. Pete will provide free introductory classes to method circuit training taught by certified trainers at the fitness park. Drop-in introductory classes offer participants an opportunity to learn and get acquainted with the equipment and class format. Sessions will also be provided in an eight-week series that begins Monday, Jan. 10. All classes are free.
An increase to physical fitness activities and community connection are goals Healthy St. Pete hopes to achieve through this program. The Booker Creek Park’s AARP FitLot Fitness Park was the first of 53 free fitness parks developed across the nation with the goal of making the St. Pete community a healthier and better place to live for people of all ages, the city said. The park features stationary equipment that can be adapted to meet a wide range of fitness levels and abilities.

- Wednesday, December 15 at 9 – 10 a.m.
- Monday, December 20 at 9 – 10 a.m.
- Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 6 – 7 p.m.
- Mondays, January 10 - February 28, 2022 at 9 – 10 a.m.
- Wednesdays, January 12 - March 2, 2022 at 9 – 10 a.m.
- Thursdays, January 13 - March 3, 2022 at 6 – 7 p.m.
