freeFall Theater's Grand Opening Is Tuesday
The Central Avenue theater space is in the former Christian Science Church complex.

The curtain will rise on a new theater in St. Petersburg, as freeFall Theatre Company, 6099 Central Ave., celebrates its grand opening Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 10 a.m.
Mayor Bill Foster and members of the City Council will take part in the ribbon cutting. freeFall Theatre is housed in the former Christian Science Church complex, located on the west end of Central Avenue. The renovated space has 140-160 seats indoors and performance space outside.
The group's stated mission is to "present a varied range of classical and new works that are bold, daring, and diverse. Our work will strive to be accessible, and we will present it in ways that invite, entertain, and challenge our audience."
