Dining Out on Thanksgiving?

Sometimes it’s nice to let someone else take on the respsonsibilities of a Thanksgiving meal. From the baking to the turkey prep to the casseroles, the workload is heavy. We found a few that are serving up the traditional turkey day cuisine, so you can truly have a day off. The restaurants cover St. Pete, St. Pete Beach and Gulfport.

• Chattaway’s- 358 22nd Avenue South, St. Petersburg, FL 33705

This historical venue is located in downtown St. Petersburg and happens to be serving up a holiday feast. For $13 per plate, dinner includes: turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy. Chattaway’s opens at 11 am and will be serving until 9:30 pm, depending on the volume.

• Hurricane Seafood Restaurant- 807 Gulf Way, St. Pete Beach, FL 33706

Located on Pass-A-Grille Beach, the Hurricane restaurant is hosting a Thanksgiving dinner for the masses. Plated meals will offer white and dark meat, homemade gravy, cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. The pricing is $10.99 for adults and $6.99 for the kids. The Hurricane is open from 11 am- 7 pm.

• Spinner's Restaurant at the Grand Plaza- 5250 Gulf Boulevard, St. Pete Beach, FL 33706

Spinner’s is located on the revolving top floor of the Grand Plaza Hotel. Enjoy a killer view of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico while feasting on the offerings Spinner’s has prepared. For a buffet of shrimp cocktail, cold salads, turkey, ham, roast, fresh fish, three to four vegetables and an array of desserts, guests will be charged $28.95 (+tax and tip).

• Salt Rock Grill- 19325 Gulf Boulevard, Indian Shores, FL 33785

Stretching to the northern tip of Indian Shores, Salt Rock Grill has a Thanksgiving deal that is sure to satisfy guests. The restaurant opens at 11:30 am and is serving a meal that consists of: fresh turkey, garlic mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and candied yams. Thanksgiving dinner will be sold for $18.50 per plate.

• La Cote Basque- 3104 Beach Boulevard South, Gulfport, FL 33707

La Cote Basque is one of the only privately owned restaurants in Gulfport that will be open for business on Thanksgiving Day. Guests can choose to have Virginia baked ham or traditional turkey as their entree for $14.95. La Cote Basque will also have their early bird menu and full dinner menu available.

• Cracker Barrel- 2151 54th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33714

Serving up plates inspired by traditional, southern cooking- Cracker Barrel is the perfect chain restaurant to enjoy Thanksgiving. The meal includes: turkey, sugar ham sampling,  cornbread dressing, two vegetables, bread and a slice of pie. For a slim $8.95, enjoy Thanksgiving dinner at your local Cracker Barrel.
