Man, 41, Dead After Domestic-Related Stabbing

Pinellas County deputies are investigating the Monday morning death of a 41-year-old Seminole man.

SEMINOLE, FL — The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man who died following an apparent domestic-related stabbing Monday morning.

According to the sheriff’s office, the agency received a 911 call around 3:23 a.m. July 10 from a home in the 9500 block of Hamlin Boulevard. The female caller identified herself as Mary Pender-Michielson, 52, an email from the sheriff's office said.

Pender-Michielson told authorities her husband, Bruce Michielson, suffered a stab wound to the chest during an argument, the agency said. When deputies arrived at the home, they found Bruce Michielson unresponsive. He was airlifted to Bayfront Medical, but was pronounced dead at 4:40 a.m.
