Man Attacked, Robbed Woman In St. Pete: Watch
Investigators are looking for a man who attacked a 65-year-old woman with a knife and robbed her Monday, St. Petersburg police said.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Detectives are trying to identify a man who attacked a woman with a knife and robbed her Monday afternoon, according to a St. Petersburg Police Department news release. (Watch a video of the suspect below.)
The attack happened just after 2 p.m. while the victim was walking near the intersection of 17th Avenue Southeast and Bay Street Southeast.
Surveillance video footage shows the suspect passed her, then turned around and approached her, according to SPPD.

Within seconds, the man grabbed her, punched her in the stomach and cut her arm, police said. He then placed her ring finger in his mouth to forcibly remove rings from her finger.
The suspect is approximately ages 30 to 35 and stands 5 feet, 9 inches tall. He has a full beard and a short Afro hairstyle, police said. He was wearing a black t-shirt and black pants.
