Police Identify Bank Robbery Suspect, Arrest Him On Robbery Charges

St. Petersburg officers identified the suspect who is accused of robbing a Regions Bank Monday. Officers located him at his house.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Update: St. Pete police arrested 31-year-old Charles (Chad) Reschar on robbery charges following a Regions Bank robbery Monday, a news release said.

Authorities located him at his home located in 7300 block of 51st Terrace North, St. Petersburg.

St. Petersburg detectives are asking for the public's help with a bank robbery investigation, a St. Pete police news release said.

A white man is accused by officers of robbing a Regions Bank on Monday at 3:50 p.m. He passed a note to the teller at the 3399 66th Street North location demanding money, investigators said. The teller told authorities that he said he had a weapon but didn't show it.
