Maximo Park Master Plan Forum Tonight

Maximo Park Forum, Breakfast with the Mayor, Sheriff's Debate, Rio Vista Elementary and Patch Newsletters are five things you need to know today.

1. A public forum will be held on Tuesday, July 17 at 7 p.m. at the Lake Vista Recreation Center located at 1401 62nd Avenue South. The purpose of the forum is to recieve input from the community regarding the proposed development of a Maximo Park Master Plan.

2. Mayor Foster will host the monthly breakfast forum a week earlier, on July 18, at the Kopper Kitchen, 5562 Central Ave., instead of on the usual fourth Wednesday. Residents are invited to support the local economy with breakfast at the local business as they share informal conversation with the mayor. Breakfast With the Mayor' will return on its normal fourth-Wednesday schedule on August 22. 

3. Tonight, join Patch for a debate among the candidates for Pinellas County Sheriff.  The debate is free to attend and begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalists of Clearwater Octagon Center, 2470 Nursery Rd. But, if you can't be there in person, to see a live video stream. 4. The next public forum is to discuss conceptual plans for the design of the proposed park at Rio Vista Elementary School, located in the northeastern section of the city. On Wednesday, July 25, the Rio Vista forum begins at 7 p.m. and will be held at nearby St. Petersburg Presbyterian Church, at 600 83rd Ave. NE.
