Meat Market Shooting Suspect Charged With Murder: St. Pete Police
The suspect in the Dec. 18 fatal shooting at a St. Petersburg meat market was charged with second-degree murder, police said.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The suspect in a Dec. 18 fatal shooting at a St. Petersburg meat market faces multiple charges, authorities said.
Charles Teal, 46, was charged with second-degree murder in the death of 42-year-old Deon Bell, St. Petersburg police said.
Teal was initially charged on Dec. 19 with violation of probation and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

The murder charge for Bell’s death was added on Jan. 3 while he was already in custody, police said.
Officers responded to reports of a person shot at Kings Meat Market, 1345 34th Street S. just after 8:30 a.m.

When they arrived, they found Bell with a gunshot wound. He was brought to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
