Do You Have the 'Worst' Holiday Photo?

ST. PETERSBURG – Kids crying on Santa's lap. Aunt Martha stuffing herself with Christmas stuffing. There are some pictures from the holidays many of us cherish for their cringe-worthy qualities and hilarity.

Well, the Morean Arts Center would like to see your bad holiday photos. It's part of a contest, where the worst pictures are judged the best. Submissions of funny, awkward or just plain ugly holiday photos will be taken in for review over the coming weeks.

Photography instructors at the Morean will be judging the contest to decide who has the “worst” holiday photo.

Winners of the contest will receive Publix gift cards. First Place will earn a $100 gift card and Second Place will win a $50 gift card.

Those who are participating are encouraged to get their photos in soon. The earlier that entries are received, the more votes they will be able to generate.

Winners will be annouced on January 4th, 2012. Entries for the “Worst Holiday Photograph Contest” will be displayed in the Art Lounge until January 2nd.
