New Boat Slips At St. Pete Pier, Dock Personal Watercraft

If you're a boater who wants to skip Beach Drive parking and Pier parking, boat slips recently installed allow limited docking at the Pier.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — If you prefer to travel by boat to the Pier, and skip the headache parking in downtown, boat slips for short term tie-ups are now available, according to the Pier's website.

Before you start your boat up and get underway, there are rules and prices you'll want to familiarize yourself with first.

Docking Rules, According To Pier Officials:

  • No reservations, first-come, first-served basis during operating hours only.
  • One boat per slip.
  • No commercial activity, including loading/unloading passengers, and no water or electric hook-ups.
  • Must provide your own lines and fenders.
  • Dock at your own risk.

Boat slips are open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. You are allowed to dock your boat for a maximum of six hours. At 11 p.m. every day, the gate will be chained and locked. Pier Security is available for any issues or after hour access.

Weekday Rates:

  • First 4 Hours = $2 per hour
  • Fifth Hour = $3
  • Sixth Hour=$4
  • Six hours costs $15

Weekend Rates:

  • First 4 Hours = $2.50 per hour
  • Fifth Hour = $3.50
  • Sixth Hour = $4.50
  • Six hours costs $18
