ST. PETERSBURG, FL - Police will have additional officers at two Pinellas Park schools on Monday after a possible threat was shared on Snapchat sometime Friday evening. The post threatened a possible school shooting to take place on Tuesday, Feb. 20, police said. The post said students should not come to school.

While the post did not name a school specifically, it was alleged that the post had been written on a bathroom wall of Pinellas Park High School. Pinellas Park police said they will continue to have an increased presence at all local schools as they have since the school shooting in South Florida last week.

Beginning Monday, additional officers will be at Pinellas Park High School and at Morgan Fitzgerald Middle School, which is located across the street.
