Police Clerk Thought He Sent Explicit Photo To Teen Girls: SPPD
A St. Pete police clerk was fired on his fifth day on the job for "sexually explicit" conversations with who he thought were teen girls.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A recently hired civilian property and evidence clerk for the St. Petersburg Police Department was arrested for having sexually explicit conversations with who he thought were two teenage girls, the agency said in a news release.
Michael Cherico was charged with unlawful use of a two-way communication device, transmission of harmful material to a minor, and luring and enticing.
He was on his fifth day on the job and his employment was immediately terminated.

Cherico chatted with two people he believed to be a 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old girl, and sent them an explicit photo, police said.
