St. Pete Crab & Music Festival 2016: What to Know Before You Go

Festival features crab-infused food and local entertainers.

St. Petersburg, FL – People looking for a bit of seafood and a bit of soul can find both at the St. Pete Crab & Music Festival this weekend.

This inaugural event will bring together some of the Tampa Bay area’s best local bands as well as some of the area’s best chefs serving up food highlighting crab. Here’s what area residents need to know before you go to the St. Pete Crab & Music Festival 2016:

Date and Time

The St. Pete Crab & Music Festival 2016 takes place Saturday, June 18 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The festival will take place rain or shine.

Location

The event takes place at Vinoy Park, 701 Bay Shore Drive NE in St. Petersburg.

Tickets

General admission tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Upgraded tickets include Preferred (includes seating) for $50, VIP (food and table seating) for $100 and Platinum VIP (food, drink and table seating) for $150.

Parking and Shuttles

From I-275 take Exit 23A, which will become Fourth Avenue Northeast, which will dead-end at Beach Drive Northeast. Look for street parking or park in any of the three designated downtown parking garages, or ride the free shuttle bus or Looper Trolley. The bus and trolley run approximately every 15 minutes on Saturdays. Click here for a shuttle and parking map.

Special Guests

St. Petersburg resident and former professional boxing champion Ronlad “Winky” Wright will be the celebrity host for the festival. St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman will be the special guest DJ.

Food Vendors

Approximately 20 food vendors will offer local seafood, barbecue and more.
