St. Pete Man Wins $1M Prize In FL Scratch-Off: Report

The winning $1M scratch-off ticket was bought at Wildwood Meat Market​ in St. Pete, a media report says.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A 53-year-old St. Petersburg man is a millionaire after winning the $5 Gold Rush Doubler scratch-off game Tuesday, per a media report.

The grand-prize winner will receive a one-time, lump-sum payment of $685,000, WFLA reported.

The winning ticket was bought at Wildwood Meat Market in the 1200 block of 28th Street South. WFLA reported Wildwood was given a $2,000 bonus for selling the scratch-off.

Current odds of winning the $5 Gold Rush Doubler are 1:3:98, according to Florida Lottery results.

Players can match their numbers to any winning number and win the prize shown for that number, according to the lottery website.

A nugget symbol means players have won double the prize displayed while a gold bar located in the doubler box means players can double all 12 prizes, according to the lottery website.
