St. Pete Man Jailed After Drunk-Dialing 911
The 51-year-old phoned 911 three times to complain about his cell phone and that his drug dealer was upset with him, deputies told the Tampa Bay Times.

A St. Pete man who drunk-dialed 911 to complain about his drug dealer has landed in jail.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, Gary Alan Pockrandt dialed 911 twice and told dispatchers that his cell phone was not working. Deputies went out to his home to check on his welfare.
Several hours later, he phoned 911 again. The third time got him a free pass to the Pinellas County Jail on March 13.

Pockrandt allegedly told emergency dispatchers that his drug dealer was angry at him.
Deputies were dispatched to the 51-year-old man's home, on the 5900 block of 39th St. North, where he was arrsted.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, the report said that he was intoxicated. Deputies also discovered that he had smashed his own cell phone.
He is charged with misuse of the 911 emergency dispatch system.
