Missing St. Pete Man Found

St. Petersburg Police needed help finding a missing 61-year-old man with health concerns.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Update 9:34 a.m. March 9: St. Petersburg Police say Donald Joseph Sullivan has been found safe.

Earlier: The St. Petersburg Police Department is asking for help locating a missing 61-year-old man.

According to the agency, Donald Joseph Sullivan was last seen at his home in the 2000 block of 17th Avenue South around 6:15 p.m. March 8.

“He stepped out onto the back porch and is believed to have scaled a backyard fence,” a Thursday morning email from police said.

Sullivan suffers from dementia and other health concerns, the agency noted. He is not originally from the area, police said, “and may appear lost and confused.”

Sullivan is described as being a white male who stands 6 feet tall. He weighs about 150 pounds and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the police department at 727-893-7780.
