St. Pete Worst Place to Look for Summer Jobs?
The Clearwater/St. Petersburg/Tampa area has been named by Forbes Magazine as the second worst place in the country to find a summer job.

If you or someone you know are looking for a summer job in St. Pete you might have a hard time, according to a new report.
The Clearwater/St. Petersburg/Tampa area has been named by Forbes Magazine as the second worst place in the country to find a summer job.
Cap Coral/Fort Myers was listed at the worst city in the U.S. for jobs this summer. Many of the other "worst" cities on the list, which several are from Florida, include: Lakeland, Winter Haven, Sarasota/Bradenton, Northport, Honolulu, Los Angeles, Tucson and Miami.
According to the report:
"ManpowerGroup surveyed more than 18,000 employers in 100 metropolitan statistical areas to find out who’s hiring, who’s firing and who plans to maintain their current staff levels in the third quarter of 2013. Of the surveyed employers, 22% anticipate an increase in staffing levels in their third quarter hiring plans (a four-year high), while 6% expect a decrease in payrolls."
The best cities for summer jobs include: Nashville, Salt Lake City, Austin and Des Moines.
