Stray Bullet Hits TV Viewer on Super Bowl Sunday; Deputies Seek Vehicle Involved
Ten minutes into the Super Bowl Sunday night, a stray gunshot hit a TV viewer in Palm Harbor. Pinellas County authorities are asking drivers to be on the lookout for a small white truck with mag wheels.
Ten minutes into the Super Bowl Sunday night, a Palm Harbor man was struck by a stray bullet while sitting at home watching TV.
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Department is asking drivers to be on the lookout for a small white truck with mag wheels that may be involved in the shooting, which took placed at about 6:40 p.m.
The stray gunfire went through the wall of William James Freeman's condominium, striking him in the face. Freeman, 40, was transported by helicopter to Bayfront Medical Center, and is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Deputies say it appears someone was firing shots from within a moving vehicle.
The shots struck a 2006 Freightliner Truck cab; and a 2006 Chevy Colorado SUV
that were parked in front of Building 15 at 2350 Cypress Point Road in the
Cypress Lake Apartment Complex.
Deputies say a stray bullet struck Freeman, who lives nearby.

The shooting occurred in the parking lot at 2350 Cypress Pond Road in
front of Building 15 at the Cypress Lakes Apartment. The man was injured inside his home at 1608 Lennox Road East in Palm Harbor.
A vehicle seen leaving the scene is described as a white four-door small
pick-up truck with mag chrome rims and a blue auxiliary-type lighting on the
dash.
Anyone with information that may assist deputies in this investigation is
