St. Pete Swah-Rey Owners Lose Almost Everything In RV Rollover Crash, Sustain Injuries
Leslie and Greg Ciccone, known to St. Pete by their Swah-Rey cupcakes, have been recovering in Biloxi, MS, following a serious crash.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The owners of a popular cupcake and dessert shop, Leslie Ciccone and Greg Ciccone of Swah-Rey, need the St. Petersburg community's help following injuries they suffered in a rollover crash.
Leslie and Gregg operated Swah-Rey St. Pete stores for several years before closing the shops recently to pursue more business dreams in California. The couple and their two dogs were driving to California when they were involved in a hit-and-run crash Sunday on Interstate 10, according to the GoFundMe page set up for them.
A large truck hit their trailer-in-tow from behind, causing their RV to roll over multiple times before it rested upside down on the side of the road, Mayor Rick Kriseman said. The truck drove away.

Kriseman said the couple escaped with non-life-threatening injuries. Leslie suffered physical injuries that are expected to take awhile from which to fully recover.

Just about everything they owned, which was in their motorhome and trailer, was destroyed. Kriseman said the Ciccones have no family nearby and have been recuperating at a hotel in Biloxi, Mississippi.

According to Kriseman, their insurance company told them they can expect a four- to six-week delay before they will receive financial help.
"These are two people who never hesitated to help anyone in our community," Kriseman wrote on Facebook. "Now it is our turn as a community to help them. Please consider making a donation on this GoFundMe Page."
