FL Coffee Chain Expands With New Drive-Thru Location

A Tampa Bay-area coffee chain expanded in FLwith a new drive-thru location in northern Pinellas County.

OLDSMAR, FL — St. Petersburg-based coffee chain Kahwa Coffee hosted the grand opening of its newest cafe in Pinellas County on Tuesday morning.

The drive-thru only location is in Oldsmar at 3502 Tampa Road.

Those who stop by the new cafe during the grand opening will get free coffee drinks all day. There are also exclusive giveaways, including free coffee for a year and swag from the Tampa Bay Rays.

Those who visit the new location on Tuesday will receive a code to enter to win these giveaways.
Kahwa co-founders Raphael and Sarah Perrier and local officials, including Oldsmar Mayor Katie Gannon, were on hand for the ribbon cutting.

“The new Oldsmar location marks another exciting milestone for Kahwa Coffee, continuing its mission to serve high-quality, locally roasted coffee while creating warm, community-centered spaces throughout the Tampa Bay region,” the company said.

The company uses Arabica beans from different origins around the world that are blended and roasted to produce complex flavors.

Kahwa opened its first retail cafe in downtown St. Pete in 2008. Today, the company has 15 retail locations and six franchise locations, including two in Texas.
