Tampa Bay Rays Opening Pop-Up Team Shop Across The Street From Tropicana Field

The Tampa Bay Rays team pop-up shop is opening in St. Petersburg across the street from Tropicana Field, which is under repair.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The Tampa Bay Rays will celebrate the grand opening of the Rays Pop-Up Team Store at 1101 1st Ave. S. in St. Petersburg on Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to a news release from the team.

The new retail location is across the street from the team’s home stadium, Tropicana Field, which had its roof ripped off and other damages during Hurricane Milton.

The Rays are playing the 2025-26 season at Tampa’s George M. Steinbrenner Field while the stadium is being repaired.

The pop-up store will showcase a selection of Rays merchandise and collectibles. There will also be a coffee bar with free coffees, lattes and pastries for shoppers.

The grand opening festivities run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Starting pitcher Ryan Pepiot will come by the shop to meet fans.

The event will also feature a DJ, the Rays street team, giveaways, complimentary ballpark fare, and appearances by the team’s mascots, Raymond and DJ Kitty.

“We very much look forward to being back at Tropicana Field for the 2026 baseball season," Bill Walsh, chief business officer, said. “There's been great progress with repairs, and the pop-up store is a concrete first step to moving back into Tropicana Field. This new retail space will also give us the opportunity to host special events, and allow Rays fans the chance to come together and shop throughout the holiday season."

Rays season ticket holders will receive a 20 percent discount on eligible purchases at the store, which is open weekdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Free parking is available across the street in Lot 6 of Tropicana Field.
