Tropicana Field Testing Site Closes Ahead Of Thunderstorms
The Tropicana Field coronavirus testing site closed early on Wednesday because of predicted thunderstorms for the afternoon.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The Tropicana Field coronavirus testing site will close to new cars at 12:45 p.m., Wednesday, due to predicted thunderstorms by the National Weather Service.

Residents are also reminded that a negative test result only shows your status on the day you were tested, county officials said.

If you have been exposed to coronavirus, please follow all quarantine guidance by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The Tropicana Field will reopen Thursday at 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Residents arriving at the Tropicana Field testing site are asked to stay in their car. Walk-ups are not permitted. A list of sites that accept walk-ups is available on the website above.
