Person Hit While Walking In Crosswalk, St. Pete Police Search For Driver

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Police are asking for the public's help identifying an SUV that hit a person walking in a marked crosswalk in St. Petersburg Thursday evening at 6:40 p.m.

Fifteenth Avenue South and 22nd Street South is where the SUV hit the victim, according to detectives with the St. Pete Police Department. Deputies have not released the condition of the pedestrian.

Investigators posted a video of the SUV driving away on the St. Pete Police Twitter page.
