Video Shows Robber Holding Gun To Cashier's Back At Gas Station
The St. Petersburg Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a man who is responsible for an Exxon robbery.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A man who is shown in video surveillance footage robbing an Exxon gas station in St. Petersburg Aug. 21 is wanted by detectives, St. Pete Police said.
At about 9:39 p.m., video shows a robber at the convenience store, 3061 First Avenue North, St. Petersburg, walking behind the counter and grabbing the clerk as he holds the gun to the employee's back and demands money. The victim opened the cash drawer for him, and he is shown taking an undisclosed amount of cash then shoving the clerk to the floor. He then runs out of the store. According to authorities, the robber was last seen ducking into an alley just north of the store. The clerk did not have any weapons. The gunman was about 6-foot-1, 180 pounds and had facial hair. He was wearing a black hoodie, a black skull cap under a white baseball hat, black pants, and black shoes, a police news release said. It also appears he was wearing thin, latex gloves.
