Video Of St. Pete Pier Tram Attack Released: Watch

The driver of a tram at the St. Pete Pier was attacked June 9, police said. They're still looking for the suspect.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Police continue to search for the suspect who attacked the driver of a tram at the St. Pete Pier on June 9.

The driver was assaulted by a passenger and suffered minor injuries, the St. Petersburg Police Department wrote in a Facebook post.

The agency released a video of the attack and is asking for anyone with information about the suspect to contact SPPD. (Watch the video below.)

Anywho who recognizes the suspect may call SPPD at 727-893-7780. Anonymous tips may be submitted using TIP-411 by texting “SPPD” plus the tip.”
