Vinoy Hotel Offers a Valentine to Locals: Cheaper Room Rates
Discounted hotel stays are for Tampa Bay residents on Sunday and Monday, Feb. 13 and 14. But you must show your Florida's driver license at check-in.

The Renaissance Vinoy Resort & Golf Club is offering a limited-time special for Valentine’s Day available only to those who live within the Tampa Bay area.
The 85-year old resort is giving locals a reduced rate of $169 per night (a savings of almost 40 percent), including breakfast for two on Sunday and Monday nights, Feb. 13 and 14 only.
To redeem the offer, residents must enter rate code D54 when booking online. At check-in, guests will be asked to present a valid Florida ID proving residence within a 100-mile radius of the resort.

To kick the romance up a notch, the Vinoy Day Spa is featuring its signature “Love Potion” aromatherapy in treatments, such as a couples massage ($235), facial ($105) or pedicure ($63).
Guests can also add a Love Potion cocktail for $8 to any treatment.

The Renaissance Vinoy features five restaurants, a private marina, 18-hole golf course, 12-court tennis complex, outdoor pool, fitness center, and more.
For the night of the 14th only, Marchand's will have a set menu for $125 per couple. But if locals wanted to come in over the weekend on the 12th or 13th, they may want to try the new Salute to the Arts menu at Marchand's, which is $19.25 for dinner.
