Was Alligator Fleeing Tropical Storm?
A photo of an alligator crawling on to a St. Petersburg roadway was tweeted on Thursday, as Andrea stormed across the region.
Why did the alligator cross the road? Presumably to get away from flooding waters and gusting winds that plagued St. Petersburg Thursday.
Bay News 9 tweeted this photo from viewer Brian Silvestro, who photographed the 'gator at 16th Street and 109th Avenue in St. Petersburg.
Good thing this big boy was wearing his alligator skin coat to stay dry.
