Tarpon Man Allegedly Hits Doctor with Car Multiple Times
The incident took place on Feb. 23 at Florida Hospital North Pinellas.

A Tarpon Springs man has been accused of striking a doctor at Florida Hospital North Pinellas "three to four times" with his car after hitting the doctor in the face.Â
According to the arrest affidavit, 32-year-old Robert Ratliff began yelling at the doctor while he was looking at medical paperwork.Â
Ratliff, Tarpon Springs Police said, continued to yell, then hit the doctor with his open right hand.Â

Police say Ratliff took the paperwork while hitting the doctor in the face.Â
According to the affidavit, Ratliff left the hospital and the victim followed. Ratliff allegedly got into his vehicle and began backing up and striking the doctor multiple times with his vehicle at a slow speed.Â

Ratliff has been charged with battery on health service personnel. He has been released from Pinellas County Jail on a $5,000 bond.Â
