Man Rescued From Boat Off Coast of Tarpon Springs
The man injured his hand while working aboard a fishing vessel Saturday and was evacuated by the U.S. Coast Guard, Bay News 9 reports.

A 38-year-old man was rescued by the U.S. Coast guard Saturday after he was injured while working aboard a fishing boat off the coast of Tarpon Springs, Bay News 9 reports.
The crew member was medically evacuated by a helicopter after he suffered injuries to his hand aboard a 47-foot fishing vessel that was 89 miles west of Tarpon, according to the news station.
The man was taken to Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater, where local emergency medical personnel then took him to Tampa General Hospital, Bay News 9 reports.
