Unsolved Murder of Tarpon Springs Man Leaves Unanswered Questions

Family members are still searching for answers in the unsolved murder of a 73-year-old Tarpon Springs man in December.
A vigil was held Sunday evening at the Sponge Docks for Eddie Dixon, whose body was found by his caretaker at his North Ring Village apartment on Dec. 7, Bay News 9 reports.
No one has been charged in the case, and Tarpon Springs Police Capt. Jeffrey Young told Patch there is no new information and detectives are actively investigating. Officials said they were withholding specific details so as not to compromise the investigation.

Dena Tingling, Dixon's daughter, told Bay News 9 she doesn't know who would want to hurt her father, a war veteran and father of seven.
“If anyone out here knows anything, please come forward," Tingling told the news station.
