Devonshire at PGA National Announces New Executive Director

Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.—September 21, 2021 — Erickson Senior Living, a national leader in developing and managing continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), has named Brad Andrus as executive director of Devonshire at PGA National, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Andrus is a highly respected senior living executive and industry veteran whose career has been marked a passion and success in serving seniors.

“Since joining Devonshire at PGA National as associate executive director in 2019, Brad has been a champion for creating the finest quality lifestyle and services for residents, while also promoting a dynamic and rewarding environment for its career professionals,” says Kerry Jones, Erickson Senior Living’s vice president of corporate operations. “His industry understanding, business acumen and passion for collaboration and innovation is crucial in guiding Devonshire through its next proud chapter.”

Andrus started his career at Charlestown, an Erickson Senior Living-managed community in Catonsville, Maryland, 20 years ago, working in both the sales and philanthropy departments, until his departure in 2011. He spent the next seven years in executive leadership roles with two other senior living organizations before returning to work for Erickson Senior Living at Greenspring in Springfield, Virginia, as associate executive director in 2018. The following year he moved to Florida to become Devonshire’s associate executive director.

Andrus completed his undergraduate work at Towson University in Maryland and holds two master’s degrees, one from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in management of aging services and one from Notre Dame of Maryland University in business management. He is also a Fellow of the Leading Age National Leadership Academy.
