Patch and T-Mobile have teamed up to celebrate local star students making a big impact in their Georgia communities.

Georgia is full of bright, driven young people making a difference in and out of the classroom. That’s why Patch and T-Mobile have teamed up to spotlight students excelling in academics, athletics and community service.

Claire McAllister (Alpharetta): As an 11th-grader last year, she was applauded for using her American Sign Language skills to communicate with customers in the deaf community when she worked at Publix. She volunteered at her school and the Alpharetta library every week. In her free time, she crochets blankets for the local animal shelters. "Claire loves being a part of the Alpharetta community. She has a very strong work ethic and is always looking for ways to be involved." Read more here.

Arianna Brown (Roswell): As an eighth-grader last year she represented her school at Linguapalooza 2024, a World Languages competition. "She never hesitates to help a friend or someone in need. She volunteers in her community and helps those who are underserved. She's going to Puerto Rico for a missions trip and volunteering at a camp for low-income families," her father said in 2024. Lighthouse Junior Choir (Gwinnett): The choir was re-launched in 2021 to give light and hope to people in a time of sorrow and despair. "At first, they didn't know how to serve others because they were just kids! But when they saw their songs made many people happy and getting tears, they also started to have thankful hearts that they could serve others." Read more here.
