4 Dead In Single-Vehicle Crash In GA
A single-vehicle crash left a driver and three passengers dead near a Georgia embankment.
NEWTON, GA — Four people died in a single-vehicle crash Sunday morning in Baker County, the Georgia State Patrol said.
The deadly crash happened around 8 a.m. at Clear Lake Road in Newton.
The GSP said a vehicle was heading west on Clear Lake when the driver failed to maintain a lane, crossed a center line, traveled off the left side of the road and hit an embankment.

The vehicle then hit a tree before coming to a rest, the GSP said.
Authorities said the following people died at the scene: driver William Cosby, 22, of Camilla and passengers Martin Cosby, 19, of Camilla; Richard Dollar, 22, of Newton; and Sierra Underwood, 23, of Sylvester.

The GSP did not say if there were contributing factors in the crash.
