7 High School, 9 College Grads To Play In Super Bowl 59
Seven players on the 53-man rosters played high-school football in GA, while nine players were either UGA Bulldogs or GA Tech Yellowjackets.

GEORGIA — Some familiar Georgia names are on the roster in Sunday’s Super Bowl LIX between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
Seven of the players on the 53-man rosters got their start in playing high school football in Georgia, according to High School Football America. They include an offensive lineman, cornerback and safety.

- Harrison Butker, Kicker, The Westminster School, Chiefs (former Yellow Jacket)
- Justin Reid, Position, Safety, Dutchtown High School, Chiefs
- Jaylen Watson, Cornerback, Laney High School, Chiefs
- Hunter Nourzad, Offensive Lineman, The Walker School, Chiefs
- Wanya Morris, Offensive Lineman, Grayson High School, Chiefs
- Malik Herring, Defensive End, Mary Persons High School, Chiefs
- Darius Slay Jr., Cornerback, Brunswick High School, Eagles

Overall, high school athletes from 31 different states, plus Australia will be represented when the Chiefs and Eagles battle for the Vince Lombardi Trophy for the second time in the last three years.
Florida has 14 former players (10 for Philadelphia, four for Kansas City) slated to play in America’s biggest football game.
Texas has the second most with 12 (eight for Philadelphia, four for Kansas City).
