Braves Player Dansby Swanson Marries U.S. Soccer Player Mallory Pugh

Family and friends attended the Lake Oconee ceremony Saturday, according to a report.

GREENSBORO, GA — Atlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson married longtime girlfriend and U.S. Women's National soccer player Mallory Pugh in a "modern and elegant" ceremony Saturday, according to People.

The outlet reported the couple had a wedding at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Lake Oconee in Greensboro in front of family and friends.

According to ESPN, Swanson, 28, and Pugh, 24, have been together since 2017. The two got engaged in early December 2021.

ESPN reported the duo met through Swanson's former teammate, Jace Peterson.

Swanson and Pugh's wedding reception was non-traditional with all-night food stations; and in true Georgia fashion, Waffle House catered the after-party, People reported.
