SAVANNAH, GA — A man dragging a 7-foot-long alligator in a park is captured on camera.

Someone recorded the Savannah man pulling the gator by its tail with his hands in Bowles C. Ford Park, WTOC-TV reported.

“My first reaction was what am I doing out here?” Marquell T. White told WTOC-TV.

White stepped in because he was concerned that the gator would attack someone, he said.

“It was a healthy fear. I respected the power I knew the gator had.”

The city of Savannah said it has since mowed the park’s grass.
