Georgia Guard Blackhawk Copters Schedule Flyover On Memorial Day

The helicopters will fly over sites not previously covered, including Stone Mountain Park and Lake Lanier.

ATLANTA, GA — The Atlanta metro will see its third coronavirus-related flyover on Memorial Day, this time covering sites east of Atlanta and near Interstate 85.

The Georgia National Guard will fly Blackhawk helicopters from the Clay National Guard Center in Marietta and pass over these sites:

  • 10:40 a.m. Grady Health System
  • 10:48 a.m. Stone Mountain Park
  • 11:03 a.m. Northside Hospital Gwinnett
  • 11:22 a.m. Lake Lanier
  • 11:30 a.m. Northside Hospital Forsyth
  • 11:47 a.m. Northside Hospital Cherokee
  • 11:51 a.m. Georgia National Cemetery
  • 12:03 p.m. Wellstar Kennestone Hospital
  • 12:07 p.m. Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield
  • 12:10 p.m. Marietta National Cemetery

Another flyover will be happening simultaneously in south Georgia.
