Purple Clouds Above Glowing Sunset That Looks Like Lava: Georgia Photo Of The Day
This photo features a leafy green window into a world of burning colors with striking pastels. It's a natural sunset that looks unnatural.

GEORGIA — At first glance, this might be a jaw-dropping photo of burning lava and a volcano. The sunset captured with incredible timing and location by Carol Bolash near Smyrna City Hall is unlike most sun snaps.
Bolash's photo looks as if it is a carefully tuned filter, built to enhance the bright yellow and glowing orange yet also soften the pastel purples and maintain the dark greens.
The frame of the green leaves feels like a window into a different world. The orange shadow on the pale lavender cloud is an especially stunning contrast that feels unearthly.
