GEORGIA — Krispy Kreme is feeling patriotic and spreading some generosity. The donut chain is celebrating the 4th of July a little early with its new limited-edition "I Heart America" collection. It features four red, white and blue 'nuts that are Independence Day themed.

In addition to the announcement of this patriotic collection, the chain shared a two special deals for everyone. Festive customers who wear red, white and blue will receive a free donut of their choice from now through July 4 at participating locations.

The deal gets even sweeter! The second promotion begins Friday and runs through Monday. Customers who buy any dozen or 16-count minis will receive a free dozen of original glazed donuts at participating locations. • Patriotic Cookies & Kreme Heart: A heart-shaped donut filled with cookies and Kreme, dipped in white icing and topped with cookie and icing drizzles.
• Stars & Stripes Heart: A heart-shaped donut filled with Kreme, dipped in white icing and decorated like a flag with a red icing drizzle and a star sprinkle blend.
• Star Spangled Sprinkle: An original glazed donut dipped in blue icing and topped with red and white star sprinkles.
