Five new Raising Cane's eateries will soon be clucking into Georgia.
The expansion of the chicken finger franchise will bring Raising Cane's total to 12 restaurants in the Peach State.
The popular business was founded by Todd Graves on Aug. 28, 1996 and offers a simple menu that solely focuses on crunchy chicken tenders with the accompaniments of coleslaw and Texas toast.

Customers can get the tenders stuffed into a sandwich, or they can opt for one of Raising Cane's combo meals.
In January, the chain announced plans to open 100 restaurants this year. Last year, Raising Cane's opened 118 new locations.

In Georgia, Raising Cane's plans to open these new locations:
- 920 Buford Road, Cumming (open on Dec. 16)
- 2094 Barrett Lakes Blvd., Kennesaw (open on Jan. 27)
- 1530 GA-138, Conyers (no opening date available)
- 1198 N. St. Augustine Road, Valdosta (open on Feb. 10)
- 5720 Whittlesey Blvd., Columbus (open on Jan. 13)
The franchise already has locations in Athens, Buford, Dacula, Duluth, McDonough, Snellville and Woodstock.
