If you want to have fun, Georgia offers a variety of ways to cut loose, according to one new study. Personal finance site WalletHub ranked the Peach State No. 18 in its list of the most and least fun states in America.
WalletHub used 26 indicators to determine which states were the most fun, ranking everything from most restaurants and movie theaters per capita to access to national parks and the arts.
Georgia is home to a variety of well-known attractions for tourists, including the World of Coca-Cola and Six Flags Over Georgia.

Other attractions include the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, Tyler Perry Studios, river cruises in Savannah, the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway in Blue Ridge, and the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site and the Carter Center.
Next year, the Peach State will host eight matches for the FIFA World Cup 2026, and football lovers will pack the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in February 2028 to watch the NFL's Super Bowl 62 in Atlanta.

Foodies can indulge in Georgia, as it offers award-winning barbecue and eclectic dishes from James Beard nominees.
The most fun state was deemed California due to its large number of restaurants, amusement parks, movie theaters, and fitness centers.
The dubious moniker of the least fun state went to West Virginia.
Georgia was ranked 14th for entertainment and recreation options, and 27th among all states for its nightlife.
