UGA Football Games Won't Sell Alcohol This Year: Reports
The University of Georgia won't sell alcohol at its Sanford Stadium this year, according to reports.
GEORGIA — Bulldog fans will have to go without the beer and alcohol while cheering on their favorite team this year. The University of Georgia won’t be selling either at the Sanford Stadium in 2022, according to reports.
UGA Athletic Director Josh Brooks told The Athens Banner-Herald that unless fans are sitting in premium seats, they’ll have to wait at least one more season if they want to purchase a beer at the Sanford Stadium. There will be no public alcohol sales in 2022 for all home games.
The university has been slowly rolling out alcohol sales such as beer and alcoholic seltzer this past season for men’s and women’s basketball, baseball and softball games, they reported.
