The Golden Soldiers Announce John Stringer To Perform Live at BIG DAY OUT

Acworth nonprofit The Golden Soldiers Inc. is proud to announce John Stringer, top 10 Billboard chart singer-songwriter, is set to perform live at BIG DAY OUT, presented by Neadwerx and Velossent and scheduled for June 8, 2013, at North Point Community Church from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

As the front man of the indie rock band State of Man, Stringer co-wrote and recorded several albums (including a top 10 bestselling Billboard chart hit single) and performed in nine countries, including tours for the U.S. Armed Forces. 

His music has been featured on major network television and he has also appeared in national print ads in Rolling Stone, VIBE, SPIN, Vanity Fair and other publications.

In addition to spending time with his wonderful wife and kids in Atlanta, Stringer still follows his passions in music, is completing a new book, and is enjoying life.

"It's a great feeling when you know your talent is being used to help others," Stringer said in a release. "[BIG DAY OUT] is all about GIVING to families with special needs and creating an environment where children with special needs can enjoy themselves.

"I'm honored to participate and look forward to having a lot of fun!"

Every year The Golden Soldier’s host the largest free festival to honor individuals with special needs and their families.
