Cornerstone Prep Students Serve on Mission Trip

While many students spent their winter break catching up on rest or spending time with family, four Cornerstone Prep high school students—Charlie Galat, Jackson Galat, Jacob Inge, and Jackson Keating chose to do something different—something life-changing. They answered the call to serve and traveled to Nicaragua with West Ridge Church and Chosen Children’s Ministry. Immersed in the village of Renacer, a place marked by extreme poverty and hardship, they worked alongside 71 other students to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

These four students found themselves deeply moved by the unity and purpose of the group. Whether it was laying bricks for a new home, leading children in songs about Jesus, or sharing their faith with strangers, they saw God’s love reflected in every interaction.
