A Marietta postal worker is now charged, and Cobb police are urging locals to avoid mailing cash or gift cards that can be easily intercepted and quickly spent.
   

• Acworth Man Left Loaded Gun in School Bathroom During Kids' Show (thegeorgiasun.com) — An Acworth man is facing misdemeanor charges after a loaded pistol was discovered in a bathroom stall at Durham Middle School during a Dec. 3 student performance. The gun, brought in by accident according to officials, was found while families were on campus, prompting a safety sweep before the show continued and a follow-up message to parents.
